What were your duties as an NCLA intern? I am currently assisting with an amicus brief to be submitted to the Supreme Court.

What did you most enjoy about your internship? How NCLA gives their clerks substantive and hands-on work.

What interesting thing(s) did you learn about Administrative Law? The immense scope of the Administrative State.

How might you use what you’ve learned later in your professional career? Knowing the laws regarding administrative agencies will be valuable throughout my career, as well as the legal research and writing skills I have developed.

Any advice for other students who want to intern at NCLA in the future? Work on developing your research and writing skills. Read a lot of legal writing to learn how practicing lawyers write.
