MSU Vaccine Mandate Stands After Judge Again Denies Challenger

COVID-19 vaccinations will continue to be required at Michigan State University after a judge denied an employee’s attempt to block the mandate. MSU President Samuel Stanley Jr. announced July 30 that all students, faculty and staff would be required to get vaccinated against COVID-19 if they planned to be on campus this fall. Short of a medical or religious exemption, employees who refuse the vaccine could face discipline ranging up to termination.
